Explore either on foot or mountain bike - Cooindas 87 acres of bushland including a dam and a creek with its own micro-climate. Kangaroos, wombats, echidnas and birdlife are in abundance.
Luxuriate in the heated hydrotherapeutic spa or lounge on the deck and watch the ever-changing valley landscape and the afternoon sun light up the escarpment in an orange glow. Sit by the outside fire pit and watch the stars shine so brightly in the valley darkness.
Summer breezes cool the house in its elevated position and in winter you'll be as warm as toast with the log-burner heater, heat transfer ducts and the double glazed windows.
There is an open plan kitchen/living area that opens through sliding doors out to the expansive deck area. You can BBQ or there is a fully fitted kitchen with new oven, gas cooktop, microwave, fridge and dishwasher and everything you need to cook up a sumptuous meal.
Choose between inside or outside dining both with stunning views. Also enjoy those views from the comfort of the Queen Bed in one bedroom or, in the second room, two King Singles . A spacious bathroom with walk in shower and double vanity.
Bed linen and towels are supplied based on the number of guests selected at the time of booking .Please note if you plan to twin share you must select for more than 2 guests staying.
Due to the location of the home and the dam, the house is not suitable for young children but babies can be accommodated. In addition to the 2-bedroom house, there is a 3 bedroom house on the property which is for the owner's use. Unless we advise you otherwise, the owners will NOT be staying in the 3 bedroom house during your stay.
We can arrange a private Chef for your stay or even a massage, please speak with us when booking.
Cooinda means happy place and that is how you will feel when you are here but perhaps not when it's time to leave!
