The house accommodates up to 10 people in absolute luxury and has been described as Kangaroo Valleys most spectacular home. Concrete, glass and warm timbers define the homes aesthetic and flow inside and out. Internally, the curated, designer furnishings help relax the generous internal spaces and create a sense of calm whilst externally the landscape design and native Australian plants further integrate the house into the stunning landscape.
Divided across two wings, there are five uniquely designed bedrooms each with their own ensuite, your own individual view of the escarpments and an outdoor space to enjoy. The Easterly aspect is perfect for watching the sun rise over the rock face and the morning mist dancing and swirling across the fields.
Four bedrooms have king sized beds and one has a queen. Two king rooms can be setup with two single XL size beds each (by arrangement).
All bedrooms have luxurious, hotel quality beds, linen and towels. Individually controlled reverse cycle air conditioning, ceiling fans and blinds cater for everyones needs in all seasons.Ensuites contain locally crafted timber vanities, overhead showers and heated towel rails. Two of the ensuites contain a freestanding bath and double showers.There is also an additional full guest bathroom in the middle of the house.
Generous in size, the kitchen includes a butlers pantry, laundry, wine fridge, bar area, two dishwashers and dual ovens. All the necessities for preparing a feast are included with multiple appliances, cooking utensils, and an abundance of dining and serving ware. The centrepiece of the chef's kitchen is a stunning, cantilevered, concrete island bench with seating for five.A breakfast area adjoins the kitchen and provides an informal dining or conversation space. Flowing from the kitchen is the lounge and dining area. With soaring 5 metre high ceilings and framed almost entirely in glass, it manages to retain an intimate feeling with plenty of comfortable seating options for you to enjoy.
The dining room seats 10-12 around a bespoke, locally crafted, timber table which has been scorched by fire as a nod to the fragility of the surrounding bushland. The spectacular off form concrete chimney, rising 9 metres out of the ground and an imposing 5 metres wide anchors the house to the landscape. On the internal face there is a large wood burning fireplace with a floating concrete bench perfect for those cold winter nights.
Flowing off the lounge and dining room is a generous entertaining deck. Another locally crafted dining table, able to comfortably seat 18 people makes it a perfect place for long, lazy lunches. An external face of the chimney incorporates a built in gas BBQ. Bar stools, armchairs and tiered deck seating complete this relaxing space. Watch the changing colours of the escarpments as the sun begins to set and the kangaroos emerge from the trees.
A media room with plenty of comfortable seating contains an 85 inch TV with Netflix, Playstation4, board games and hundreds of DVDs - the perfect space for games and movie nights. Alternatively, relax around the corner in the reading area and lose yourself in the views into the rainforest canopy. Wi-Fi and mobile reception is available at the property. Built in speakers provide the option for wireless music streaming throughout all the entertaining areas from your devices.
